I really love it when websites have an icon displayed next to their URL because, well, it just looks pretty darn cool!

Here are instructions on how to add it to your website…
- Create a design (100 x 100 pixels) and save it as .jpg
- Go here and upload your image and then click download “favicon”
- Take the favicon.ico and upload it to the root of your web server

New Year, new resolutions, new beginnings and a clean slate… I don’t set resolutions since they are meant to be broken, but here are my few new beginnings for 2009
Volunteer - I always say I will volunteer but never actually do. This is the year to finally put the remote control down and get inspired.
Shoot Moore! Much more! – I don’t shoot nearly enough, and to be a good photographer I must practice.
Learn Spanish – I want to be fluent in Spanish in 2009. Hola!
Learn to play Djembe – I have always wanted to learn to play bongos. It seems nearly impossible since I have two left hands, but I did purchase Djembe drums and will give it a try.
Just a little somthin’ somethin’

VS.
Every morning I see people reading newspapers, lots of them. I am not one of those people. I read blogs, lots of them! I admit it; I’m an addict to chocolate blogging! I eat read them daily and I can’t get enough of them. I have three blogs, but who’s counting. I even have a separate blog that lists the blogs I follow and sorts them by who has updated their blog last.
A blog is defined as a personal journal; not too personal since most people have it open to absolutely everyone who has access to the internet. In most cases, no one will read this blog or a selected few, most likely the bored ones who accidentally stumble on it (and probably because Scott Kelby or Joe McCnally forgot to blog today so they had nowhere else to turn to). Blogging gets you noticed with in your industry, I comment on other blogs in hopes of others blogging back on mine. It’s a great way to pick others brains and educate your self.
Without further ado (or is it adieu?)
My main pride and joy is my “101 things to do before I die” blog/list. #68 is probably nearly impossible; Hey! You never know! If you’re gonna dream, dream big, right!?!
The fun doesn’t stop there. I love to travel. If traveling was free I would have visited the entire world by now. But I guess six countries will do for now. I have this neat travel blog that I started updating after I visited India.
Of course I can’t be a true photographer without having others critique my work. Since I personal don’t know too many photographers I turn to strangers on the internet. I have been uploading my images to photo.net for many years and recently started using flickr as well.
I love to see who has updated their blog last and one of my blogs allows me to do that. “STROBIST – 3 hours ago”
I swear, I have a life!!!
